February 8, 200323 yr I am getting messages "Scenery library object not found" at very different places, i.e. also midair. It is very annoying to get these boxes for example during a difficult approach. As I have installed quite some add-on scenery over time it is difficult to isolate the cause. Two questions:[ul][li]Is there any way to trace the ID codes that come with the message back to the scenery causing the problem ( ID: 0xAAAAAAAA,0xBBBBBBBB,0xCCCCCCCC,0xDDDDDDDD)[li]Can I do some symptom fighing by disabling the message[/ul] Because of the amount of extra scenery and aurcraft installed I want to avoid uninstalling and re-installing FS as long as possible.Regards,Jan van Bekkum
February 8, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member Hello Jan,As you probably already understood this message means that a library BGL has not been found and that therefore an object can not be displayed. There are tools that can read which GUIDs (that's the code you get) are in a library BGL. But, because you are missing a BGL, this wouldn't help indeed.Maybe the best thing is to look when the error occured and try to look at the latest things you installed before it (see the readme if they require a library BGL).As you say you also get it mid air, it might also be an aircraft and not a scenery.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[link:home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]Arno's FlightSim World for scenery design hints, tips and other tricks... February 8, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member FsRegen - http://www.nhreas.com/fsregen.htmlYou need the Library tool, that can list the content of library BGL files. But because are missing a file I don't think it will help.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[link:home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]Arno's FlightSim World for scenery design hints, tips and other tricks...
