777 with patch

Recommended Posts

PSS:I am still having troouble with the T7. I set up and used a derated take off with only 512K GW. It climbed at 8000 ft/m even after VNAV was engaged. The it didn't follow the speeds and altitudes from the flight plan. I have attached screen shots but don't know if you can see. Alt was set at 8000 and the plane stayed at 9000 and then the next waypoint was 8000 and 280 kts. The plane reduced to 240 kts.I hope it is something I am doing wrong. Any help and hints would be appreciated.Best RegardsRick

Rick,Your screen shots have not appeared. But perhaps you could give us details of how you inserted the route etc. I have certainly never seen this with the 777.BTW have you tried the tutorial flight using the patched 777?John Rooum

John:I input the route just as the manual says and as I have done hundreds of times with other planes. I just did the tutorial again. It climbed like a rocket off the runway again and then all went well until after descent started I got an overspeed up to 400+ kts. I had to hit the alt. hold button so it would slow down. After that all went well. I really like this plane and will buy the 757 as soon as I am satisfied that the 777 is working properly. It still could be something I am doing or not doing. I am going through the manual and tutorial again to see if I can find why the overspeed and high climb rate. Thanks for the reply. Rick
