February 16, 200818 yr A few years ago, Chris LaClair produced a checklist for the AVSIM team. Chris is probably the best pilot to have virtually flown for Team AVSIM. He is now "race-retired," having moved on to a career as a professional pilot.Professional pilots rely on check lists, for obvious reasons. We, too, should go through our checklists before taking off. Experience shows that it is easy to miss some items when you are trying to move quickly under the pressure of the race. Accordingly, we should methodically go through our own procedures to be sure that we are ready to depart or ready to approach and land. For your use, I've attached a slightly modified version of Chris' checklist. Please modify it to suit your own purposes.Hope this helps,Mike --Mike MacKuen
