February 18, 200818 yr Let's have the Executive Committee examine this solution before assuming that this is now legal. Looks good but needs some consideration.Mike --Mike MacKuen
February 18, 200818 yr it's a modification to the aircraft configuration, ergo illegal under the letter of the rules. The only officially allowed mods are instrument substitutions like replacing gauges with improved versions. You don't need the P47N anyway. The Mike has plenty of range and is slightly faster. The only use one could have for the November would be as a superfast aircraft for wildcard legs or corridors, which would be questionable with an aircraft thus modified in a way that's impossible to validate (you could just have had a good tailwind, saving fuel...).
