February 14, 200323 yr I am fed up with cables and wires! I am thinking about buying the cordless Logitech joystick. Has anybody here got one? Or any other type? Does it work well?Appreciate posts, thanks!JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
February 14, 200323 yr I received one for Christmas and am using it. Don't know how many brands there are, and I'm at work now (shhh....) and don't know if it is Logitech, but I think that's the brand. It works fine and the throttle has a much better feel than my Sidewinder did. Sometimes I use both yoke and joystick, mainly using the joystick for different views. If you don't use the cordless one for awhile however, it looses contact or shuts down or whatever and there is a delay when you then use it of a few seconds. The receiver has a green led that starts blinking if the joystick is NOT in communication with it. As long as you are ready for a 2 to 3 second delay while they re-establish communication, you're fine. Also, I initially tried installing it thru my USB hub and it kept losing communication with the receiver. I put it into one of the direct USB ports on the computer and it worked fine then. All things considered, I like it.
