February 14, 200323 yr It would be great to have two things that X-Plane has, that really add to the experience.1. Moving traffic on the roads (cars and trucks, both day and night).2. Weather radar available on the NAV display. Thanks
February 14, 200323 yr 1) You mean real '3d'? In FS2K we had those moving lights, not a big deal, but anyway.2) No chance to get, I'm afraid... But don't know for sure of course.
February 14, 200323 yr Here here on #2!! Look at that video with the color terrain, absolutely beautiful! As colorful and even more functional than a weather radar (at least I would assume). Would it be so difficult to give that new GPS a weather radar as well?Ken
February 15, 200323 yr Train Simulator has road traffic so I guess adding it to the new Flight Simulator wouldn't be impossible. I wasn't too impressed with the moving lights in FS2K.Bill
February 15, 200323 yr To anyone...Where are you gentlemen previewing all those videos from? I would like to see any FS videos, not just FS2002... and especially that one with the "Chickens"! lol
February 16, 200323 yr They're over at www.flightsim.com. Check out the MS COF section in their file library. There's 10 videos listed in the Misc. section.Kenneth
February 16, 200323 yr I would love to see a working weather radar(also maybe one of those things that shows lighting strikes would be cool) in Century of Flight. Moving traffic could be OK, but I hope if they do have something like that, you can turn it off because my computer probably won't be getting wonderful FPS in the first place and I can't imagine how slow it would be w/ 500 little cars buzzing around.
February 16, 200323 yr Thanks you, Pardue802.I did check out the FS videos from the AvSim site. Some did not have sound. Is that by default (using WinMedia 9.x)?I did manage to see the screen shots from FlightSim.com; however, I had problems, when trying to create a use-account; mentioned something about cache & proxy settings (?!).Anyway, thanks for sharing that web site link!Stanley
