Flaps and speed brakes levers

Recommended Posts

Hi,I have speed brakes and flaps assigned to joystick buttons and they work just fine. Flaps deploy and also speed brakes deploy correctly. But if I open the pedestal view I can't see the respective levers moving according to the input given by the buttons; in other words I select flaps 2 with the button, they exit but the lever doesn't move.Is there any fix for that? I mean, maybe I'm too perfectionist but I'd like to know if there is a workaround. Also I have noticed that you can hear that typical "click" of the flap lever only if dragged by the mouse. Is it normal? Thank youLorenzo

Read the included readme. The assignment of flaps and spoiler controls is a bit different in this aircraft.

There are three ways to move the flaps in the TinMouse II.1. Use the F6/F7 key (or a button mapped to those keys in FSUIPC or third-party joystick driver)2. Drag the flap handle with the mouse in the throttle pedestal window.3. Use a control mapped in FSUIPC to send an offset command to control the flaps.Use of the stock FS flap control does not work...as explained elsewhere, I had to do this to separate the flap handle from flap movement, so that alternate flaps and flap handle movement without hydraulic power would be correctly modelled. If you move the flap handle one of the aforementioned ways, the handle will move...but the flaps will behave correctly based on flap handle position, alternate flap system status, and available power sources. In other words, if you put the handle down with no hydraulics, the handle will move, but the flaps won't. If you put the flap handle down with the alt flap switch in ALT they won't move.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
