No TCAS and no fuel pumps...

Recommended Posts

Guest arvillal2

Before all, I wish you a nice and smooth transition to your new place from Santiago, and happy new year too! Thanks so much for the update, as we, Tinmouse drivers wanted to have some new reference for this awesome plane that I flew for some time in real life a few years ago.I've dowloaded the new patch and I have also installed the CIVA 1.51 version, both work well together, but guess what? I realized that the wing fuel tanks lights are allways off!!! regardless the electrics are tied to either main buses or APU bus and the TCAS is also faulty (flag) I looked into my main FS9 file and all the gauges for it are in there as before. I got to tell you that I have a registred FSUIPC version 3.75 Any idea what I have to do in order to overcome this? Any comment is much appreciated, though I suspect the solution is in the FSUIPC settings but not sure what to change. With best regardsArt.

Thanks Art.I can't duplicate that problem...and it's not likely an FSUIPC issue, as the electrical bus states are internal to the panel.I recommend you start FS with the default C-172 at a default airport, with both the master and avionics power switches verified in the "on" position, then switch to the 'mouse...this should clear any of those pesky FS internal variables that sometimes carry over from flight to flight via the .flt file. More than likely that'll get things back to normal. If not, I'm going to need a lot more detail on what's going on. CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

Hi Bob,I've followed your advise and now all is fine. Besides, I've got to report that the first issue I encountered with v1.24 with the blank DME readings on the RMI is now working correctly, don't ask me how it happened but it did. Finally I've got a question, have you ever considered to change the ground spoiler deployment from the nose wheel to the mains? of course when is already armed for landing, in fact, as you may well know, there are different ways to deploy the spoilers when landing, one is either by the commpersion of the main right strut or two spinning wheels, the other one is, when not armed, it deploy when you arm reverse thrust. This is particulary important when landing on wet runways where you need to spoil the wing lift and transfer the aircraft weight to the mains asap to improve braking, of course, among other facts that it might be taken into consideration.Sorry, just sharing a few comments. With best regards,Art Villeraux.

>I've got a question, have you ever considered to change the>ground spoiler deployment from the nose wheel to the mains? That's a sim-ism. Terry Gaff's model uses the wing fold animation to control the spoilers. When the wing fold is triggered, the sim apparently dumps lift on the wings, resulting in a nasty nose-wheel slam. So with Terry's model, I programmed the panel to wait for the nose to come down before actuating the animation. Terry is not actively working any more changes on the model, so we have what we have.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

Hi Bob,Thank you for the explanation, I really appreciated. You are right, we've got what we've got and, thank you for keeping this great plane still "in the air" Did you notice that, as far as I know, none of the current developers, and I mean payware, have created a version of the B737-200?I've fully loaded my mouse, ie CIVA IRS unit and Reality XP weather radar, of course I've got some other fine planes as Level-D B767-300 and PMDG B747-400 but I always come back from time to time to this unique addon to FS9. Keep up the good work my friend.Warm regardsArt.
