October 18, 200718 yr I read the other posts/threads concerning connecting to FSX (Vista) and it just won't connect. I looked for any simconnect.dll's etc, I selected auto parameters, I disabled Windows firewall and still no success. Both Programs are on the same machine , so I understand I don't need to configure any simconnect files. I've been at it for at least an hour, reading all the documentation concerning Whisplacer and withing the FS SDK. I'll keep at it though but if I'm missing something obvious, a tip would be helpful.
October 19, 200718 yr Author I got it connected following these instructions http://www.zbluesoftware.com/fsxplanner/si...ect.cfm#blockedbut now I can't get the program to work. Oh well, it doesn't matter. I just wanted to play with it anyway. Maybe I'll just purchase Instant Scenery instead.
