Simconnect variable for FSX B737 Autopilot Course Value

Recommended Posts

Guest nmshaw

Hello,I am trying to create an external application to replace the MCP of the standard FSX B737. I am having difficulty in reading a variable which represents the course which is settable in degrees.I have reviewed the simconnect variables and can not seem to find this. I suspect this is caused by my ignorance of aircraft systems and therefore not knowing how to describe this variable.Does anyone know what this variable is called?ThanksNeil

>I am having difficulty in>reading a variable which represents the course which is>settable in degrees. If you do mean the course value, of which there are two, one for NAV1 and one for NAV2, then these are known in FS as "OBS" and the variables are NAV OBS:1 and NAV OBS:2.If you do really mean the autopilot heading, this is AUTOPILOT HEADING LOCK DIR.RegardsPete
