Skyscraper Fire - Reloaded

This little freeware mission has a lot going for it. It's still one of my all-time favorites. Some of the camera work here has been the best I've done so far.http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/2313/bsfscene1xa4.jpgAlmost everything that you see in this mission was excruciatingly planned around the cut-scenes ... from the placement of every person, vehicle, building and tree! I was trying to explore what was possible with the camera system in FSX, and I ended up quite pleased with the results ... although it did take quite a long time to build because I was making practically every mistake a budding designer can make. Here's Boston Skyscraper Fire - Version 2.0http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4724/bsfscene2vi3.jpgVersion 2.0 has a lot of fixes, but I've kept the guts of the mission pretty much intactI redid a lot of the sound files. In the initial version of this mission, I did all of the voice characterizations for each of the four "actors." My characterizations aren't exactly Mel Blanc-worthy to say the least. Other than cleaning up the art assets and Mission Brief, this mission is pretty much exactly as it was when I released it about two years ago (although it's been abbreviated to account for the fact that we're flying a Bell Jet Ranger III instead of a helicopter that can put out fires.)Still, it's a pretty fun mission. Hope you enjoy it again!Download the freeware Boston Skyscraper Fire v2.0 at http://www.flightsimulatorxmissions.com

Kevin, This is still one of my all time favorites to fly. I'm thrilled to see an update. This may have been your first mission but you did a super job with it. I will get the updatelater tonite. I'm hopeful you will be involved in the making of some of the missons for the next gen FS.Thanks for sharing the update with the community!Jim
