Alpine Gliding Mission Crashes every time

Featured Replies

I cannot get to the end if the Alpine Gliding mission because of a CTD that occurs every time I fly it. It routinely happens between waypoints 8 & 9, with about 18.5 miles to run to WP9.I have not had any crashes in other situations, not does this crash when I have flown the mission route in the default Mooney as a free flight.I've got FSGenesis mesh installed, but removing that hasn't made any difference.I can't think of anything else to try. Scenery seems not to be the problem as it works on free flight. I've tried nVidia's latest graphics drivers and the latest version from MSI (it's one of their cards) with no resolution. The only things remaining are the glider itself or the mission. But others have successfully completed it, so that just frustrates all the more!!Anyone have any suggestions of things to try? Thanks

I have the exact same problem in my FSX. In two now of my soaring missions it crashes at almost the exact same spot. One thing I notice though is if I am reloading from a save game it will crash in almost the same spot. However if I start that level over it may or may not crash but once I have loaded from a saved game it will always crash. Hope this made sense.DW
