$400 upgrade more than doubled my FS2k2 performance

Yep...this board is running great....I actually bought an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with a 2600+/333 CPU...and 1 gig of 2700mem...didn't look at the board..the guy in the shop pulled it out of the box, installed the ram and cpu/cooler...ran a boot on it..all ok..I took the box home all excited...had to wait for a few hours, stuff to do...Finally....went to install and looked at the MB...the mounting holes had scratches and gouges where it appeared someone had previously installed it...Brought it back for an exchange...they were out of stock, with none expected for a couple of weeks....got my cash back, (which is a good thing), but then all xxxx broke loose and I had to spend the cash on more important home life disasters....now I'm broke again and watching chop :)Oh Well...the prices will drop and the chips will get faster
