FS9 freeze After reinstall

Featured Replies

Hi all.I have totally reinstalled FS9 (from zero) and I don't have installed any add on's. The problem is that if I click on "create a flight" and after on "fly now!" is all ok, but if I click on "select a flight" FS freeze, and the same problem when, inflight, i try to open menu "flight" and click on "select a flight": anyone can help me? Many thanksMaichan

This problem is caused by your video card driver installation and/or FS9 not properly identifying your video card. First, delete FS9.cfg, restart FS9 and let the config rebuild itself. If the problem continues, uninstall/reinstall your video card drivers.Best regards,Jim

If it's a clean install, with no addon's, make sure you deleted all the saved flights from the 'my flights' directory.. if you don't have theplane that the flight was saved with, you got troubles...

Hi, I am having the same problem as described here. However, when I go to the FS9 directory I cannot find FS9.cfg at all. I have done a search for it but to no avail. I am running Vista, could that be a prob?ThanksMal
