January 11, 200719 yr Hello to all Flight Sim operators. I am having a problem with FS9 I haven't had before, and was wondering if someone could help. When I start Flight Simulator, I get an error saying, "Aircraft initialization failure Cessna 182R RG Paint 7". I've removed the file, and re-installed original C-182RG file, thinking maybe I fouled up on one of my texture installations, but that didn't help either. I'm hoping someone out there has had the same problem, and can help, Please.Pilotman58
January 11, 200719 yr have you set FS to load directly into a flight when started; or is the error after you 'create a flight'?-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
January 11, 200719 yr Yes, when I click on FS icon, my splash screen opens, and then I get the error message before stated. Flight Sim does not open at all. What do you think it might be?ThanksPilotman58AMD Athlon Thunderbird 2.1GWindows XP SP2NVIDIA GeForce 4MX 440 w/64mb785mb DDR Ram(wanting/and or needing, to upgrade video card, Ram, and processor to 3.0G)
