After F&%$&&*&ing with reg files, I realize..after the fact I can no longer Re-install SB3 And Real Enviro. When I try to install , both programs tell me there is no FS9...Install FS9 first ..it states???Fs 9 is installed and works quite well. Activesky works although I did not reove it and try to reinstall it.My question..what file do these programs not see..?? Which file is missing..reinstall of my bloated FS9..not an option :)I have done some registry repair which did not help and I can not use system restore as I have had these programs removed for many weeks before I discovered the prob.Any help appreciatedMike

Sounds like the registry key that holds the install location of FS9 has been deleted.On my computer, it's here:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftmicrosoft gamesflight simulator9.0And the key is "EXE Path"

Welll done!! Guess what? it is not therefs.9 ..but .10 only!?Now when did I delete the file and....... what is the easiest ''fix'''? hmmmmmmmMB

And I do have fsx installed BTW I think I backed up the reg..will check it out thanksMB
