Be aware that it is NOT just a pop-up window. It will suspend FS9/FSX and replacew the current view with the map. Once you close the map you will be returned to flight. I rarely use the map in flight because of this. All you'll need to do to add the icon is correctly specify it in a "gaugexx=" line in your panel.cfg file and specify the X,Y,x,y parameters. Look at a panel.cfg of a panel that already contains a map icon to see how it's done. Paul

I've done the gauge##, x,y,x,y. But the icon does not appear on the panel. I've added several gauges to other panels, but I don't get the Map Icon to appear. I understand the Map stops the flight, but I find it handy to get airport info- VOR, Runway info, ect.
