Recommended Posts

Hi all,Recently I suffer from CTD's from the module FE.DLL. I read alot in this forum and it is supposed to be a problem of corrupt aircraft bmp's.Is there a way to detect corrupt images via a tool? Does anybody know how to search for this kind of files?Regards,Jeroen van SchoneveldVelserbroekThe Netherlandshttp://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/b757/752_users_banner.gif http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpgASUS A8N-SLI, AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (2,4 Ghz) San Diego processor, 2Gb DDR 400 Mhz Corsair Mem, ASUS V6800 PCIE Ultra 256 MB video

Does>anybody know how to search for this kind of files? You can select all the .bmp files in the suspect plane's texture directory and drag them to the ImageTool utility (found in the FS9 GMAX install I think). If you've edited any of those bmp files, be aware that many editors write out a .bmp file with an incompatible file header. If you open the file with ImageTool, and then write it back out without changing anything, ImageTool will still write the .bmp file with a good FS9-compatible file header.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
