March 26, 200719 yr If I increase the number of AI aircrafts I often, during the landing procedure, get an AI plane close to mine. The missed collision, or collision, occurs during the 6 last miles. Any idea why ?Thanks for your helpMichel (lsgg)
March 26, 200719 yr 1. In their quest for realistic flight dynamics, AI aircraft designers have created flight dynamics so every AI aircraft flies the approach at different speeds.2. FS does not expend significant extra processor cycles on AI separation, especially on approach.3. Unless you are using an alternate approach procedure, your user aircraft has no priority over AI aircraft.4. If you fly with AI always ensure that Allow Collisions with Other Aircraft is unchecked in your realism settings.5. Tools like AI Smooth help by sending the conflicting AI aircraft off to Never Never Land. A free version is available, and a better version is available in two payware packages - Just Flights' Traffic 2005 and newer, and in Radar Contact.
