Hi,Has anyone confirmed whether the inclusion of the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION[/b and the [b]PoolSize tweaks in FS9.cfg have any effect on the performance of FS9?I've experimented, but am having a hard time convincing myself that either tweak has any effect at all.Perhaps I have answered my own question ;) Mind you, it's perhaps hard to judge when your setup is already performing pretty well.Mike

What, am I the only one curious enough to have tried it? I find that hard to believe. Assuming some of you have indeed tried applying these tweaks, surely you must have an opinion...one way or t'other. I see my original post didn't display quite as I had intended, so here is the edited version:"Has anyone confirmed whether the inclusion of the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION and PoolSize tweaks in FS9.cfg have any effect on the performance of FS9?I've experimented, but am having a hard time convincing myself that either tweak has any effect at all.Perhaps I have answered my own question. Hi Mike,No, you aren't the only one who tried it; me too. As I recall, when these items were first mentioned, it was stated by someone from ACES that the new variable and the new section title would only work with FSX. But I've never let facts get in the way of me making up my own mind, so I tried it. Like you I saw no difference.R-
