Having had problems with AA and nvidia i am thinking of getting an ATI card. At present i am totally happy with fs2004 and am not going to major upgrade just yet so a DX9 card is fine.Anyway i am a bit confuesd regarding choosing a card with 256mb ram against one with 512mb ram because the 256mb card had a faster clock speed as well as more pixel shaders.the two cards are:ATI Radeon X1950 XT ICEQ 3 TURBO SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (650mhz 48 pixel shaders)ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (580mhz 36 pixel shaders)which would be the best card to choose and why?Brad.

I'm not a guru, but but here's my two pennies. Take the 2nd one. Even though the 256 has a higer clock speed, the 512 has more memory. Just OC the clock speed. And if your looking at the HIS cards, make sure they will fit. The fans are huge and someone once told me that they will take up to two bays.

And here's something else... DX10 is right around the corner. Maybe wait for that if your running a PCIE system.
