Where does AS get it's weather info?

Because I'm looking at AWC right now which is NOAA, and for the 031600z METAR its 120/07, vrb winds, few at 1600, cb clouds, scattared at 1800, and temp is 31/22 QNH 1017...Now I look at AS 6.5's METAR that it pulled up and itsMYNN 031600Z 12007KT 9999 FEW016CB +RA SCT018 31/22 Q1017which is kind of close, but where did the heavy rains come from?

EDIT: foudn out why, its because I forced TS with CB...
