I checked the Microsoft site to see if they were offering a patched demo of FSX and there is not. So for a person who is fairly convinced that I will not upgrade to FSX from FS9, I will never really know if it would run well for me. I am not going to go out and buy it now just because I hear some positive feedback on SP1.You would think that by now Microsoft would be trying to re-sell their FSX to us FS9ers and would have a patched demo that would perform as SP1 to show us the "new" version?

It would be extremely expensive to produce another demo - I doubt the Microsoft bean counters would allow it.
