July 2, 200718 yr Hi,Can anyone explain what initiates AI jet engine sounds, flaps & wheels operating during take off, landing etc. The reason I ask is I have one 757 which has reverse thrust after landing and a 737 which does'nt. Rather odd I thought which then led to my think how are the varies actions controlled.Cheers Keith
July 2, 200718 yr retxed1:the animations must be programmed into the 3D model (same as for the 'user' aircraft). some AI aircraft developers include animations, other do not.-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
July 2, 200718 yr Thanks for your reply D Scobie.I can appreciate that the animations are built into the individual aircraft but what triggers them. With reference to reverse thrust sound surely this uses the sound folder files as most AI do'nt have any visable sound files unlike 'user' aircraft.Cheers Keith
July 3, 200718 yr You cannot control the animations of the model, but you do have some control over the sounds AI aircraft make.Look in the aircraft.cfg file of your 757. In the [effects] section, there is probably some fx_ command after touchdown=Copy this line to the 737 file and should be good.
