March 7, 200323 yr Are you installing a non-USA version of FS2002. If so, the GMAX installation files didn't install on some non-USA versions. Thank your lucky stars it did NOT unpack and install in the FS2002 folder. Why you ask?!! The version that comes with the FS2002Pro is two versions old! You need to visit www.discreet.com and download version 1.2 plus the 1.2 help, tutorial, etc for about 40MB of download. On the plus side, you didn't waste that amount of space on your hardrive for a program that is out dated.Several other notes for your benefit. If you use a non-USA convention for decimal, i.e., "," vs "." in Windows, you will need to change the convention for GMAX to work properly. The other area is you will need to register GMAX with Discreet. The gmax support and forums had a major crash 1-2 weeks ago and may affect your ability to register - http://www.gmaxsupport.com/Lastly, you will need to extract an important export file, FSModelExp.dle, from your fs2002 CDs. Don't bother extracting the MakeMDL.exe and imagetool.exe as updated versions are available at the SDK site - http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/FS02DevDeskSDK00.asp .Hope you got broadband modem!! Happy Downloading!!! Bill Sieffert
