:-jumpy I have deleted some addon scenery files from fs9, now when I start up I get the message, cannot find scenery file 038, when I click OK everything works. any ideas

Hi there,entry 38 is the last default entry and it points to the "Addon Scenery" folder (with its scenery and texture subfolders) in the FS root directory. Perhaps you've deleted that folder?However, there could be other reasons for that error message as well, such as duplicate entries in your scenery.cfg. Thus, I'd first run a check using Steve Greenwoods "fscenery.zip" tool available here: http://home.earthlink.net/~smgreenwood/downloads/ . The utility will analyze your .cfg file and can make basic repairs. Cheers, Holger
