Ground Environment and Windows Defender

Has anybody heard of a workaround for installing Ground Environment (not Pro) after you have Windows Defender already installed on an XP machine. I ran into the Ground Environment install failure awhile back when I had Windows Defender and the only fix was to remove Windows Defender from my computer in order to get the G.E. install to work.Defender is a good little utility to have, but if I ever have to reinstall FS9, I'll run into the G.E. install problem so I'm hesitant to put Defender back on.Kim
