How do I keep aircraft from staying in a turn? On my 787 when I go into a turn, I want it to snap back to wings level quicker than it does but I'm not sure what scalar affects that. It will stay in the turn for a very long time and it's hard to bring it back. It handles much heavier in that respect than it should.

A quick fix is to edit the aircraft.cfg file line "aileron_effectiveness" under [flight tuning]. The default value is 1.0, increasing gives the ailerons more authority. For example, setting to 1.1 increases by 10%. That said, I've found many FDE's to have a lot of other issues that show up in some of the symptoms you mention. Most particularly in the MOI's (moments of inertia). In your case the roll moi is proabably wrong. If it is, then most likely the others are also. Mike
