FS9.CFG and Vista..

Featured Replies

Hello Fellow Simmers...Can anyone please tell me where I can find the .CFG for FS9 in Vista please?? I am enjoying my new PC..however..the jury is still out on Vista! Many Thanks in advance, Stan HarveyEGPE

Its C:/ Users, (your name), App data,Raoming, Microsoft, fs9.Make sure you select show hidden files or you wont see app data folder.personlly I love Vista (never thought I would say that) but after a few tweaks and updating it works as well as xp or very close.

I cant say that I blame you, for staying with xp. I got vista back alomst a year ago and didnt like it but since I added Ram I decided to try it again, I did a few tweaks and tweaked the services a little and now the performance is alot better along with better drivers etc... I just really like the updated look and just how it operates in general. Hopefully SP1 sometime after the first of the year those little things I dont like will work better.

Thanks for the reply Made2000, found it with little problem. I like the new/fresher look of Vista and my caution will probably disappear as I get use to it and play around and explore its dark inner core! Thanks again guys, Stan Harvey EGPE Inverness.
