Trying to install FS9 on a new computer. Program shuts down immediately that the splash screen appears. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, deleting all reference to FS in files.Problem started when trying to reinstall US Roads and Streams. Several times tried to start default flight but there was no aircraft available in new installation.Anyone seen this problem before and can offer any suggestions. May have to go to FSX with new computer, but would like to have FS9 with all the purchased programs that I have installed on old computer.Dave Hinson

Found the problem. I had not downloaded Upgrade after reinstalling, and that was the problem. Found the answer at Microsoft FAQs for FS.Dave Hinson
