Thank you for the Savoia Marchetti S.73

Featured Replies

Just wanted to express my gratitude for the developer(s) of the Savoia Marchetti S.73, available here on AVSIM.Certainly something a bit different which offers a unique challenge! Its always great to see that high quality freeware development is not entirely dead. So, Stefano Meneghini and anyone who contributed to this project - Thank you very much! I'm having lots of fun with your model!!

I have to agree. I haven't had much time to fly it, but in just the short time I have had it I can tell it's going to be one of my favorites. I think it could be one of the top ten or so freeware planes I've flown. It's got great panels (the VC is extremely well done), great modelling, very good smooth performance with regard to framrate, and a really nice, dynamic feeling FM thanks to FSAviator - whose flight models always seem to feel wonderful. I'm not fond of the "as good as payware" quip becuase I think it often comes across more as a jibe against payware rather than a compliment of the freeware plane, but this is one of those cases where I think the phrase truly applies. This is a very complete package. Kudos to all involved...
