Add Scenery to FS Database instantly

Hello EveryoneLong-Time Flight simmer, first time posterAre you tired of having to open and close FS to add new scenery? Because I have a solution which does nor involve an exe. installer. When you add the scenery to the Addon Scenery or Scenery folder, open up scenery.cfg in the main fs folder.Let's say you want to add Siamavsim's VTBS2006 scenery. Take note of the number between brackets in the above entry. Now lets say the above scenery is No. 150. Type in a new entry:[Area.151] (The number that comes after the one above)Title=VTBS (The name of the folder)Local=Addon SceneryVTBS (The location of the folder)Active=TRUE (Make sure TRUE is in capital letters)Required=FALSE (Once again, FALSE in Capital letters)Layer=151 (Once again, the number that comes after the one above)Well, I hope this works for you. Or if you have FS Navigator, just run the FSNavDBC utility and "add" the new scenery folder/location there. Use the "Save to FS" button, then compile the database. Scenery is ready to go next time you start FS9.
