HELP-thrustmaster Rudder Control System

Featured Replies

I have the above rudder pedals that are about 6 years old. They connect via a gameport. I can't get WinXP Home to recognize them and have search high and low for drivers.Any help would be aprreciated. I can trick XP into seeing them by useing a "Y" connecter and using a joystick to interface but then I get all kinds of elevator flutter. Can't adjust FSUIPC to calibrate or compensate.Craig [email protected]

I'm using a Saitek X-45 joystick (USB) & Thrustmaster analog pedals. The pedals run through a "Y" connected to my older Saitek analog joystick & gameport. Looks like that's what your attempting. In the joystick menu, both joysticks are listed individually. Saitek & Saitek X45. You need to bring up both joyticks in the assignment menu, and disable most functions for the stick connected to the rudder & gameport. I havn't used any other drivers, that what come with XP. I don't even use FSUIPC.L.Adamson

Thanks....works fine now. Never thought of disabling the functions for that joystick. No more elevator flutter.
