Using fs9. KLAS to KDEN w/ PIC737..Approaching KDEN, FSatc clears me to instrument app R16. The FMC shows approaches th R16R and L, but no R16. I check FS Map and it shows a R16. What's up? and how can I fix.Appreciate some helpDick ReaMCA372

Your databases are in conflict. Default FS9's database is probably over five years old. At that time KDEN only had one Runway 16; now there are two. Obviously the FMC's database is newer and reflects 16L and 16R. FYI, current runway 16L was old runway 16. So could you use FMC 16L as your target? R-

hi ron,no 16R, but I think I could have used 16L. after I found 16 in fs map, I used that frequency and landed using 16. How can I correct this problem.thanks for the reply.dick

Follow the directions in this file exactly - and you will have working approaches for both 16 runways at KDENhttp://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...misc&DLID=72487As Ron said - the FS2004 airports database is over 5 years old - approx Oct 2002.If you want to fix all the problems caused by trying to use a new FMC navigation database - you're going to have to learn a lot about writing code in XML very quickly.
