January 23, 200818 yr Hello all,I was wondering if anyone had an idea where I could add military AI traffic to some military bases without having get involved in putting together flightplans, afcads and such. I am using Ultimate traffic for the airliner birds and GA for the smaller guys.I am not afforded alot of sim time and want to use it for flying instead of AI building and thought maybe there might be an easier way to enjoy military AI trafficThanks for all the responses and as alwaysFly Safe
January 23, 200818 yr Roger that . . . good stuff hereI too am a Captain Sim C-130 Test Pilot (that means I'm still wading through the 133 page manual) :-)Thanks for the tip re: MilitaryP.S Canadian Military is reportedly purchasing the C-130J model outta Marietta, GA so I bought the C-130J outta Legendary Capt. Sim:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183766.jpgYa gotta love those 6-bladed props . . . the Captain Sim 'J' Package costs a whopping $5.99USD :-)Addendum:"The latest C-130 to be produced, the C-130J entered the inventory in February 1999. With the noticeable difference of a six-bladed composite propeller coupled to a Rolls-Royce AE2100D3 turboprop engine, the C-130J brings substantial performance improvements over all previous models, and has allowed the introduction of the C-130J-30, a stretch version with a 15-foot fuselage extension. To date, the Air Force has taken delivery of 37 C-130J aircraft from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company."
January 23, 200818 yr Well as I'm on a roll, you can also try here:http://www.ukmil.jbai-aircraft.com/and indeed the grandaddy of them allhttp://www.projectai.com/where you'll find some military stuff in amongst the civis, including a C17, some "Boeing military" which I think may AWACS & other stuff based on the 707, and a Tornado. I don;t have a current registration there, but I assume there are repaints and flightplans for the PAI installer.Lastly, there are military packages on http://www.world-of-ai.com/ but they may be a duplication of the MAIW link I gave earlier. There, no flying for you for 2 weeks while you sort all that out.
