How is airframe icing modeled in FS2004, if at all?

Featured Replies

I'm just wondering how icing is modeled in FS2004. I've noticed that the pitot tube will get clogged up and on my F1 ATR I've noticed some graphical ice accumulating on the icing prob, but I've never noticed any change in the flight dynamics of any aircraft. Are the effects of airframe icing actually modeled in FS9 or no?If it makes any difference I run ActiveSky 6.5.

awesome, thankyou. looks like I just have to go looking harder for some ice...
