Hi Everyone,Recently I have altered something that has made the dust from the Bell helicopter, the landing lights and the tyre smoke from all other aircraft apparently changed to a number of flat polygons fluttering around on the ground. Would someone give me a clue on what I could have altered to get rid of the 3D effects that has always been there. It is not Aircraft dependant or Video drivers. Driving me crazy.Many thanks in anticipation.

I would start with restoring the default effects files from the installation disks. Disk 1, MSGAME1.cab. The contents of the effects folder as well as the texture subfolder. If you want to be more specific: fx_tch*.fx and fx_1/2/3/5.bmp. I think that's it for the touchdown effect for example. The rest I'm not sure about.
