sure it is. :) You can even file VFR if you like. :) File the flight plan based on what type of equipment you actually have in the sim, and the controllers will be pretty careful to vector accordingly. (depending on their skill level of course.)

I have flown the RFP 747 many times on VATSIM. Not much on that craft is automatic. Very well worth trying it.JimCYWG
