Has anyone run AISmooth and AISeparation simultaneously? Will this yield better results?

There is a file in the Avsim library called manual.zip which shows you how to run both programs simultaneously. I have it configured per the instructions but AISmooth crashes from a program error and I made a post in this forum a few hours ago trying to determine the cause and get a solution.
