March 24, 200323 yr Mike Stone put together a great STOL aircraft in the Caribou/C7. The only nemesis was the ever present Beech Baron 58 airfile and an aircraft.cfg to match. It's time to change all that and make Mike's Caribou the great bush aircraft it really is. Up steps Jerry Allen, an ex-Viet Nam era Caribou pilot and his reworked air and config file. caribou.zip available in the avsim library======================================================== 1. "Caribou air and config_REPORT" by dogknot No more nose dives when selecting flaps, drop the gear and feel the drag, set throttle MP @30 and cruise at 158(+or-). Stall at 59 with full flaps. Flap selections at 7, 15, 33, 45, 62 degrees.Much, much better flying than ever before. Thanks to Jerry Allen! This update brings Mike Stone's wonderful Caribou/C7 back to the bush. Give it a try and enjoy the reborn Caribou! :-wave

March 24, 200323 yr file was removed by virtue of a complaint of copyright issues. This is a portion of the e-mail I received from the library staff. Too bad since it works.
