January 24, 200818 yr This is what I get after TileProxy 6.0 beta finishes its initial load. I am using RTM version.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183776.jpg
January 24, 200818 yr Strange. Does the console window show something about an "Exception #5"? This would mean that for some reason Tileproxy was installed for FSX SP1, and then later FSX was downgraded to RTM - leading to the use of a mismatched simconnect version. So TP can't get aircraft coordinates and you get low res tiles.
January 24, 200818 yr Author This is a fresh RTM install. Can it be reading from registry? In the past I had SP1 installed but removed the entire sim. Tileproxy works ok with SP1 but I hardly ever see high res tiles. Granted I am on a 500 K line with an old P4 2.8 HT. Thanks.Jason
January 24, 200818 yr You might want to install Tileproxy Beta 6 once again. Then it will install the RTM specific version. You won't lose your configuration file in the process.Having a 500k line only, adjust your module_config lines to something like this (in all the service sections)module_config="conn=5|rate=0.5|...bulk_extend=20This increases the success rate for you downloads hopefully quite a lot. With standard settings, you will see too many timeouts and failed attempts.Christian
