Autogen.I finally got TP working perfectly, loading quickly with NO ISSUES.Really I guess it would be nice to have trees in the mountain regions. Buildings would probably be too hard since the program wouldnt know where to place them based on the actual .bmp.Is there any option in the works for autogen. I seem to remember something about that.

Autogen would require me to generate AGN files for each ground tile containing positions of individual objects, or vector outlines containing the shapes (for example of forests). These AGN files are poorly documented - there are some reverse engineering efforts with limited documentation.Object recognition on images is hard. Something best done by a graphics chip (nVidia CUDA). If I succeed creating night lighting that way by detecting streets and edges of large buildings, I might start looking for forests and individual houses as wellChristian

That all sounds very complicated. However you seem to have the drive and knowledge to make it happen. I'm very glad this is all free. You also always acknowledge posters with helpfull information back. I can't think of another developer or company that responds as promptly and respectively as yourself.Thank you again for all your hard work and I'm looking forward to future releases and excited to see just what tileproxy might become.Marc
