December 2, 200817 yr For any of you that fly the LDS 767... here's a question. What do you do when your FMC procedures reference a runway number that has been updated, but in FS2004 it has not? New runway designations can be found at KIAD, KORD, and KSEA for example. I have the latest procedure files and it makes flight planning a pain. Do any of you have any creative workarounds? Admittedly, there doesn't seem to be an issue with flying, although ATC gets irate. Then again, I mostly fly without ATC in FS2004 because they generally ask me to do some really unrealistic things. :( -- Outer Marker

December 2, 200817 yr Download a new AFCAD for those airports, KMIA has also changed since FS9 was released. That works fine if you only fly VFR. Since the XML approach files are not compiled by AFCAD, the ILS systems on the "new" runways are visible only to user aircraft. AI won't use the new runways under IFR conditions. That makes things even less realistic.I suppose I could look for an entire scenery package that updates AFCAD, XML approach files, and ILS IDENTs.
