Xpax Problem Ctd

Featured Replies

Hello, I have xpax installed with flight sim commander 8 on a client laptop. I have been having issues with my client machine CTD about 25 min before arrival at the dest airport. It happens more than not. One time from kdfw to krno the screen got a little fuzzy but did not CTD. I just flew from ksfo to kden and it crashed abot 90 miles out. Screen just goes black. Is there a windows log I can look at to figure out the problem? or a xpax log? I have 2.5 gb of memory and all hardware is up to date. I,m running vista 32 with amd 1.8 dual core athlon 64x2.I have full version FSUPIC with wide fs and Fs commander works every time by it self. Any help would be great.Tom

Hi Tom,Sorry for the problem. See if your Windows Media Player is V11 or higher. With Vista it should be automatically higher. Other possibility is your video driver. Another thing is to try with the videos turned off. That will help narrow down the issue. Please let us know. Thanks,

I turned off video and it worked fine, flew ksfo to kden tonight no issues. I have all the latest drivers and media player 11 with updates installed. I have a geforce 7150 m graphics card installed. Any thoughts how I can run the video without crashing?Tom

Hi,You can try other drivers. See if MP11 will play other video files OK, outside of X Pax.Thanks,
