Depends on what you want to do. For example, here are some different types of scenery, all of which can be easily changed.1. Altitude mesh;2. Land classification3. Water classification;4. Vector terrain (coasts, water bodies, beaches, roads, bridges...);5. Airport facilities (runways, taxiways, aprons, parking, etc.);6. Custom ground textures (photo-real);7. Object placement.There are others, of course, such as object creation, ai aircraft, vehicles, and boat traffic, and even making new clouds. It all depends where you want to start.All the available programs are for beginners and by understanding a few basic concepts, anybody can make scenery.Best regards.Luis

But is it feasible for a newbie?What I would like to do is recreate small sceneries (fe my home environement and places I visited on travels)fe my homesurroundings ( a house, a road, a farm, a lake, some trees, sheep, windmills, parkinglot, shoppingmall, ..)The airport from which I fly (in reallife) hasn't been updated since someone created it about 5 years ago (It is EBUL in Ursel Belgium)Also, sometimes I find an addon scenery from a place I've been abroad ,of which fe the airport is very good, but it is fe surrounded by horrible houses or trees.Do you think I could do such things.
