December 19, 200817 yr Does anyone know of any programs or downloads to get real engine sounds for the aircraft on FSX. I remember watching a clip on you tube where a 737-800 Ryanair was using a download producing the real engine notes and it sounded fantastic...is there anything out there for FSX???ThanksStuart
December 19, 200817 yr Search through the Avsim File Library - Sounds for FS9 will also work in FSX, and there are plenty of decent sound packages in the library covering almost all the different engines and aircraft models. There are also some payware offerings from companies such as Turbine Sound Studios, available through places like SimMarket. December 19, 200817 yr There is usually a README file in the download that gives instructions. Most times you make a backup of your aircrafts sound folder, and replace it with sounds you downloaded.
