April 4, 200323 yr Author Hi Don,"On Top" is an IFR training sim. When combined with approved flight control devices it can be used to log time in obtaining the necessary hours (40) required for the instrument rating (however 15 of the 40 hours must be in an aircraft with an instructor, and I believe a max of 20 can be logged with this software if coupled with an approved control device- which costs some many thousands of $$ :) )."On Top" has no scenery, it's just or instrument training. I think it has a virtual instructor that will assist you and score your progress. As it's not an "entertainment" product (as is not the likes of PS1), it does not have a forum here at AVSIM- that's not to say that Tom could do that though- but I believe it has a much smaller user base than anything on the forums here.Bruce.
