Anyone Tried Xpax?

Featured Replies

Hi, Has anyone tried XPAX? I read a review in Computer Pilot and it sounds good. But now Passenger X just came out!
XPAX is similar to Passenger X but much cheaper. However, Passenger X has a free demo which has everything the commercial product has as long as you fly out of KSFO. I like both of them though. I think the only basic difference is the fact Passenger X has a co-pilot option.Best regards,Jim

I have xpax and fspax . Dont get me wroung xpax is ok, but fspax is a lot more fun. The 2 dont even compare.xpax adds some extra ambience and realismFspax adds a whole new game to fsx

XPax is just set of sounds as far as I know.Xpax daznt add economical aspect to FS-thats the difference and thats what makes Xpax absolutely uncomparable to FSP.

I have them both. Xpax is far less in depth than FSPx.FSPx has an ingame control panel, Xpax does not; a major major difference. FSPx also will let you create a company and a pilot career.Do *not* get Xpax, IMHO it is a complete flop.FSPx is an excellent choice.

FS Passengers X was a little expensive at $43.10 US exchange rate, but since you probably will use it for every flight with every aircraft you have it is ok. It adds much to the sim; try the free trial that works from KSFO used as departure airport to any destination airport. Makes the sim much more fun imho.Matt

I too have XPAX and hardly ever use the thing. But it is kinda useful when doing commercial flights because it will set your weights for you (if you don't want a full plane you have to change that). I thought I would like the sounds, but don't care for it much now. About the only other thing I like about it is seeing what my landing fpm is.
