Featured Replies

I'm going to be setting up all my AI and would really appreciate it if some would tell me where I can find a good tutorial for using AFCAD and those other files (I can't remember the name, sorry) that make it so you don't have aircraft parked in the middle of the grass/hangers/etc..Thanks to all who help me out!!:)

check out www.projectai.comThat ought to help you out.

The documentation files that come with TTools and AFCAD are very good - better than most payware docs IMHO. Read them through and you'll pick up a lot of valuable tips.I'd like to suggest that experience is probably the best teacher here. It doesn't take long to install this stuff, particularly AFCAD. Give it a try, and if you don't like it, take it out. AFCAD is particularly forgiving in this regard. You can ALWAYS just un-install the changes and go back to the default, even if you didn't save a backup. Also, there are a lot of AFCAD files that people have posted for downloading. Richard Mohammed in particular has generated a lot of heavy-traffic upgrades. These work well by themselves, or you can use them as examples and starting points for even greater things. And if all else fails, take a look at the Traffic Tools forum a few stops down.
