January 10, 200917 yr Installed SP2 and now have the "dark" prop discs on some older FS9 planes that were OK before SP2. I believe this is a common problem with SP2. Is there any solution ?Also, before SP2 installation, have some static and some moving traffic on roads. Any solution to this?Dave Hinson David Hinson

I do not have the problem so have not used it so I'm not sure it will help you fix yours but it's a lead in the right direction. If you have static traffic, I assume from an FS9 program, you should be able to find a .bgl with "static" someplace in the title of the program you imported. You can delete this .bgl or rename it and see if it fixes your problem. Without knowing exactly the program that provided the static traffic, it could be difficult for us to determine an exact fix.Best regards,Jim Young

I solved the problem with help from someone on Flight1 forums. I have UTX installed and if you go to Ultimate Terrain - Change Road Surface Colors in the Setup Menu you need to have "Add Auto Imprint" deselected to not show static traffic. Don't know how this got changed in my setup, but it worked.I tried the MSAI program and it changed the propeller textures for MSAI traffic only.Dave Hinson David Hinson

Hopefully someone else can help you with your propeller textures.Jim
January 12, 200917 yr Hi Dave,Me again. I did a search here on the FSX Forum for prop textures and came up with many hits. One of them contained a pretty good solution - just copy the .bmp from a similar FSX aircraft and place it in the texture folder of the FS9 aircraft and rename it appropriately. Here's the link: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...l=prop+textures.Jim
January 13, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the link, Jim. Actually, the Shrike Commander is the aircraft that I had the prop problem with (Milton Shupe's plane) so I downloaded that one and the Howard 500, which I also have.Dave Hinson David Hinson
